Vero Beach Beckons


It is a place of endless summers and fond memories, where lifestyles are laid back, yet still completely absorbing. This is exactly what we tried to find a second home.

As the housing market shows some signs of recovery from five years of news dying, the Vero Beach area is receiving a lot of attention from the cash-rich buyers because of its enviable location and a favorable climate all year round. Average price of homes sold between December 2011 and 2012, in February rose 3.5 percent in one year after year. Based on annual averages, the price per square foot reflects this upward trend, rising 4.6 percent to $ 91 compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the inventory of available homes has dropped by 11 percent compared with last year's figures.

These signs bode well for the market. Home sellers turnkey expect some interest from house hunters looking for a vacation home or investment property with an eye toward retirement in the near future.   1. They are not interested in roughing it for the entire winter or sharing public facilities with their neighbors. They don't own RV's because they don't want the hassle of storing an unwieldy RV for most of the year. They are used to comfort and they crave it for the long winter they're away from home.
